Residents

Our elected city government represents the interests the residents of Lake City.

Lake City's city government includes:

  • Mayor - elected for a four-year term
  • City administrator - appointed by the Mayor
  • Six council members - each elected to single-member districts for a four-year staggered term of office

Comprehensive Plan

The current comprehensive plan for Lake City was developed in 2017 and adopted by the city council April 10, 2018.
